Location: The Jack Russell Inn, Faccombe, SP11 0DS
This route starts from the Jack Russell pub, just over the border from Wiltshire in Hampshire, near Andover. It goes along tracks and paths surrounding the village, through ancient woodland, a pretty valley, and with downland views.
Group member, David Wheen, led the walkers on the day and fifteen of us enjoyed an excellent lunch at the pub afterwards.
No stiles, one moderate descent and one steep ascent on an exposed chalk surface which could be slippery when wet. Some road walking.
