Location: The Chains, the island opposite The Londis, High St, Gt Bedwyn SN8 3NU
All are welcome. Just come along to the start for a short walk above Bedwyn through fields and tracks to the north-west of the village.
No stiles, a long steady uphill section, mud and puddled areas. The walk will be rerouted if flooded.
Please note: The walk begins uphill along a narrow high bank above the road so good balance is essential. Please bring a stick or poles if you normally use them. (a lift will be offered to avoid this section if necessary. Email me a few days in advance if you require this option)
The route begins and ends in the village, conveniently close to The Three Tuns so the option of a drink or Sunday lunch there might make for a good ending to this walk!
